Grand Finale Event for Asa Day 2022

The annual event tagged ‘Asa Day’ earlier slated for October 3 to October 8, has now been shifted to November 21 to 26, 2022.
This was disclosed in a statement by Prince Olaniyi Oyatoye, president, Asa Day Worldwide, who said the event is organized in conjunction with the Nigerian government through the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture.
He said his firm and the government agreed to change the date to allow organisers the time to put all logistics in place for a hitch-free programme.
He said personalities expected at the event include Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi; Timi of Ede, Munirudeen Lawal, cultural troops from Nigeria, Nigerian celebrities, among others.
Oyatoye said the annual cultural programme began in Canada in 2018 and has remained a major platform for showcasing Nigeria's rich culture to the world.
